Botanical Illustrator for Children's Dough Kits

Botanical Line Art Illustrator Needed — NZ Nature Motifs for Premium Kids' Brand (6 Illustrations)
I need an illustrator to create 6 original botanical line art illustrations for a premium New Zealand kids' play dough brand, Buzz & Bloom. The illustrations will be used on gift box packaging and as silicone stamp designs.
The work: 7 designs total — 6 kit motifs + 1 branded production stamp
Kit 1 — Pōhutukawa Coast:
Pōhutukawa flower cluster (Sage Green)
Pōhutukawa leaf + coastal wave (Ochre)
Fantail / pīwakawaka (Sandstone)
Kit 2 — Paua Shore:
Paua shell (Sage Green)
Seahorse (Pale Rose)
Kina / sea urchin (Sandstone)
Each motif is assigned a colour from the brand palette — all muted, warm, natural tones.
Brand Stamp (production use):
Circular seal — bee icon centred, "Buzz & Bloom" lettering around the perimeter. Used by the manufacturer to stamp all dough before sealing. Must fit inside a 70mm inner jar aperture — maximum face diameter 65mm. Must read cleanly as a dough impression at that size.
Style: Fine botanical linework — detailed, engraved/etched feel. Think natural history illustration meets modern gift packaging. Premium but warm and playful. No fills, no gradients, clean paths only.
Technical requirements:
Vector files (AI or SVG), scalable to any print size
Each motif as a separate file
Must work as a clean stamp impression when pressed into dough
Full commercial rights on final payment
Ideal candidate:
Strong portfolio in botanical, nature, or wildlife illustration
Comfortable working to a brand colour palette
Experienced delivering print-ready vector files
If your skills extend to packaging design, there is potential for a second phase covering jar label and outer box design for both kits. Please indicate in your application if this is within your scope.
