Book Cover Vector Silhouette
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have a single photograph of myself walking my small dog on a leash and I need it transformed into a clean, one-colour vector silhouette for a forthcoming book cover. The final artwork must use my brand green (#768e83), maintain a simplified outline (no inner detail), and stay perfectly crisp whether it is enlarged for a hard-cover jacket or reduced for a spine deboss.
Please work directly from the photo I will supply the moment we begin. All edges must be smooth and mathematically precise so there is zero pixelation when the file is scaled. Because the leash links the two figures, keep it clearly visible, but aside from that, no corrective redrawing is necessary—everything in the image is already clear. While the overall page balance matters, the main emphasis should remain on the figures themselves; I can handle any further layout tweaks once I drop the silhouette into the cover design.
Deliverables
• SVG master file built in Illustrator, Inkscape, or comparable vector software
• High-resolution PNG (minimum 3000 px width) on a transparent background, ready for print and deboss tests
If you can ensure tight, even stroke weight, accurate proportions, and a truly scale-proof result, this should be a quick, satisfying project. Let me know your turnaround time and I’ll forward the image right away.
