Bold Vector Mascot Character Design
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I’m refreshing / adding to a customer's brand identity and need help with the following: a single cartoon mascot drawn in a clean, fully-scalable vector style. The character is a cartoon transformer style so bold lines, and I’ll be using it both in the main logo and across promo materials. To cover all use-cases I’ll need several illustrations of the same character—some dynamic action shots and a couple of more relaxed, friendly poses.
Here’s what I’d like to receive:
• One primary pose that can sit comfortably inside a logo layout (simple silhouette, clear lines).
• At least one additional action poses that capture energy and attitude.
• At least one relaxed poses suitable for social posts or print collateral.
• Final artwork delivered as layered AI or EPS files, as I can save from those.
Clean vector paths are essential so the artwork can be resized for everything from business cards to large banners without loss of quality. Colour palettes are metallic (silver/gold/titanium), line-weight can vary if they enhance the overall edge. I’ll supply brand colours, fonts and any reference sketches the moment we start.
These were the instructions I received for the main logo:
- he wants the transformer to be wearing a Nova 2000 blast helmet (attached) - but I do like the more transformer type style…..
- colour choice I think for the transformer - grey silver titanium colour (I have put in a photo of empire coatings logo for those colours) and then an option of both the blue and pink
- blast nozzle and hose the same as empire coating logo
- either remove the background circle completely, or if it needs something there, use the style of empire coatings
I work in Adobe Illustrator myself, so keeping the file structure tidy (named layers, grouped elements) will speed up future tweaks on my end. Please share a sample of previous character work in a similar tone when you respond and let me know roughly how many revision rounds you’re comfortable including.
