I run a legacy Classic ASP site and recently introduced SEO-friendly URLs. To keep existing links alive I wrote a server-side redirect routine, but the redirect is causing errors while fetching some pages
I need an experienced Classic ASP/VBScript developer to review the current redirect logic, identify the exact cause of the error, and supply a clean, working patch. A short note explaining what was wrong and which lines were changed will be enough for documentation.
Deliverable: the corrected .asp / web.config file (or files) that performs the redirect without errors and preserves query-string data where applicable.
