I have attached a VB.NET project.
It will only run when you have a wifi connector, so you will most likely need a laptop.
It displays the available wireless connections around you.
However, they are not sorted according to their "nearness".
The one which have the best connection (best "Rssi" dBm value) are closest to you, so the wifi with the best Rssi is most likely yours and should be shown on top of the list.
However, the wifis are not found "right away". They arrive asynchronously after some time, and the one with the best Rssi may not be the first to arrive.
So it's necessary to re-sort this list each time a new wifi is found.
The wifi with the best "rssi" value should always be shown on top.
