VB.Net Optimization for STL Wall Thickness

I have a VB.Net project using .NET 8.0 with OpenTK and Assimp, where I display STL files and visualize wall thickness in color. However, the performance is lacking, particularly in calculation speed, which is currently dependent on CPU processing.
Key Requirements:
- Optimize the calculation speed of my project to enhance performance.
