Modify my vb to update data to vb from excel

I have a vb6 program which gets live data from excel sheet the data is copy pasted first time later it autoupdates on excel sheet trru rtd tthe problem here the program should get live data from excel sheet however instad a new instance of excel is created on timer completing its first now new instace would not have live data so I want to get data from the first instance excel sheet which is getting live data work only on this sheet
