Impelement a custom combobox with a custom search in VB.NET, 7.0 framework

I wish to implement a Custom Combobox, such that as the user types in text in the Custom Combobox, the Custom Combobox will search through the internal items and display the custom search results in a dropdown menu. This control should work b yitself, and should also be able to work in a datagridview.
