GPS Tracker Network Tester (via Amtrak) in USA

Job ID: 39676488

Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD

I need freelancers to test the network stability and signal coverage of a new GPS tracker across U.S. states by collecting data through interstate rail transportation.

Core Requirements:
✅ Essential Skills:
- Proficient in using mobile devices and software.
- Critical Ability: Knowledge of local rail systems (or capability to independently research train schedules/route maps).

Workflow:
1. [Device Receiving:]
- We will ship GPS devices (with strong magnetic casing) to your address free of charge.
- Fully charge the device until the indicator light turns off.

2. [Installation:]
- Attach the device to the exterior wall of a train (interior/undercarriage prohibited). Freight trains are preferred.
- Deploy 2-3 devices per rail route (avoid duplicate lines).

3. [Data Submission:]
- The device operates automatically for 2-5 days with no manual intervention.
- No physical recovery required.

Required Application Materials:
- Rail Route Map.
- Applicant’s city.
- Planned train service name (e.g., Amtrak "California Zephyr").
- Train route map (highlight the route path and states covered).
- Estimated one-way duration (e.g., Chicago→Omaha: 8 hours).
(Recommended sources: Amtrak official site/local rail maps)

Payment Structure (Total up to $300+/task):
Phase Amount Conditions
All devices activated 【$30】 Successful U.S. network activation
Single route completed 【$50】 Full route execution as planned
Zero detachment & stable signal 【$50】 No detachment & signal loss <10%
New state bonus 【$60/state】 Each previously untested state (mutual verification required)

(Example: Seattle-based task covering WA→MT→ND (3 new states) with stable performance:
$30 (activation) + $50 (route) + $50 (stability) + $180 (3 states) = $310)

Note: Unmet installation targets may reduce payment. One person may handle multiple routes (payment calculated per route).

Key Terms:
[Legal Compliance:]
- Use public rails only (passenger/freight allowed). No trespassing on private/military tracks.
- Sign a "Liability Release Form" assuming responsibility for unauthorized installation.

[Safety Rules:]
- Strictly prohibit climbing on moving trains! Installation/removal only at stations.
- Withdraw immediately if questioned by rail staff.
