Whisper Flow Journaling App
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am building Whisper Flow, a calm, clutter-free journaling mobile app that needs to run smoothly on both iOS and Android. The goal is simple: let users open the app, unload their thoughts, and return later to search, reread, or continue writing without distraction.
Here’s what I need from you:
– Design and build the full cross-platform application, using the framework you are most comfortable with (React Native, Flutter, or native Swift + Kotlin are all acceptable as long as the final experience feels native on each platform).
– Implement a minimalist text editor with basic Markdown support, tagging, and fast search.
– Store entries securely on-device and provide an opt-in encrypted cloud backup.
– Deliver a clean, modern UI that automatically follows light or dark mode on each OS.
– Hand over a Git repository with readable, well-commented source code, a brief README explaining build steps, and release-ready builds for TestFlight and Google Play Internal Testing.
Acceptance criteria
1. The app installs and launches without warnings on iOS 15+ and Android 11+.
2. Users can create, edit, search, and delete journal entries offline.
3. Opt-in backup encrypts data end-to-end and restores successfully after a fresh install.
4. UI passes App Store and Play Store human-interface guidelines.
5. Build instructions reproduce the same binaries on my machine.
