Research-Driven Product Development Support

Job ID: 39861017

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I’m gearing up to shape a brand-new product for industry professionals and need an experienced product or UX partner to ground every decision in real user evidence.
Your first task will be to plan and run user research. I already know we will rely on one-to-one interviews, short online surveys, and lean usability testing sessions, so I’ll count on you to craft the research plan, write the discussion guides, recruit the right mix of professional users, and moderate or observe each session.

Once the data is in, I need clear, actionable insight. Help me synthesise findings into themes, opportunity areas, and early personas that can directly inform feature scoping, user flows, and low-fidelity concepts. I’m particularly interested in seeing how you turn raw notes, survey metrics, and usability recordings into concise artefacts a product team can rally around.

Finally, we’ll translate those insights into tangible next steps for early-stage product development: problem statements, prioritised jobs-to-be-done, and a roadmap outline for an initial MVP.

Deliverables (all digital):
• Research plan and participant screener
• Interview, survey, and usability testing scripts
• Raw data & recordings
• Insight report with key findings, personas, and opportunity description
• Recommendations slide deck outlining MVP scope and next actions

If you have a track record of running mixed-method research for B2B or professional-grade products and enjoy bridging insight to strategy, I’d love to see how you work. A big bonus if you were involved in early stage startups.
