Canadian Homecare Tech Innovation Research

Job ID: 40142670

Budget: $30 – $250 CAD

I need a concise yet thorough market study on home-care in Canada, zeroing-in on patient care and management from the perspective of homecare agencies. The purpose is to uncover unmet needs, workflow pain points, and technology gaps so I can set an informed direction for a new care-focused platform.

What I expect you to do
• Map the current landscape—regulations, major service providers, and existing digital solutions.
• Hold or source at least a small sample of interviews or surveys with agency owners, care coordinators, or clinical leads.
• Synthesise findings into clear user insights, opportunity areas, and early feature concepts that directly improve patient care and day-to-day agency operations.
• Present everything in a well-structured report (Google Docs or PPT) plus a one-page executive summary I can share with stakeholders.

Acceptance criteria
1. Evidence-backed insights tied to quoted data or interview snippets.
2. A minimum of three opportunity themes with at least one sketched feature idea each.
3. Actionable recommendations ranked by impact and implementation complexity.
4. All sources and raw notes provided in an appendix.

Please use common research tools—StatCan datasets, industry whitepapers, and user-research methods such as Zoom or phone interviews—whatever delivers reliable, Canada-specific insight. I’m happy to clarify access to participants or any ethical approvals you may require.
