UI/UX designer
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
We are a small group of people, investing their time, effort, and technical and business expertise into assembling a process for rapidly building and delivering software products (mostly based on the modern cloud tech (AWS)) to patch the market where it hurts.
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer (Middle or Junior level) who is passionate about the craft, understands his learning path ahead, and is interested in continuous learning and applying his skills to solve various UI and UX challenges (user research, analysis, UX decision making, wireframing, mockups, visual design, etc.) across a growing portfolio of products.
Requirements:
Understanding the difference between UI and UX design
Basic UI skillset (prototyping, design tools like Figma (preferred), design principles, colors/fonts)
Basic UX skillset (human-computer interaction, interaction design, analytical skills, wireframing, mockups)
The ability to articulate and rationalize your decisions
Learning and professional growth are on top of your priority list
Curiosity and genuine interest in various design areas (UI, UX, IxD, Product, etc.)
Hardworking and reliable
English (reading and writing skills, intermediate+)
Responsibilities:
Given the input on the target user base, analyze users’ needs
Come up with UX and UI decisions to meet the given business goals
Communicate interaction and design ideas via wireframes, user flows, user journeys, use cases, mockups, or other tools
Create elegant, intuitive, and functional user interfaces
Ensure design standards are maintained in the implementation
Conduct and analyze user testing to validate designs
We offer:
Compensation: baseline (qualification-based) + bonus (task-based)
Baseline is determined by your skill sets and grows with obtaining new ones ($0 Trainee, ~$2/h Junior, ~$5/h Middle)
Task bonus varies from $2/h to $10/h depending on the skill requirements
Flexible schedule

1h/day paid time for learning (can be spent on professional skills of your choice and/or fitness)
Specialized training before taking on tasks that require unmastered skills
Weekly payments on the basis of time logged and work approved
