Tablet & Desktop UI/UX - Basic Design, Skilled software/app UI/UX designer/Java FX/Figma
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I'm in need of a talented designer who specializes in both UI and UX design for desktop and tablet interfaces. The perfect freelancer for this would be familiar with Java FX and Figma. The focus for this project is to create an easy-to-navigate, simple, yet engaging design.
Your tasks would include:
- Understanding our basic level design aesthetic and navigation patterns.
- Applying them to our desktop and tablet platforms.
- Ensuring the UI and UX are optimized for both platforms.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Strong background in UI/UX design, specifically for desktop and tablet formats.
- Proven experience with Java FX and Figma.
- Demonstrated ability to create a basic, user-friendly interface.
The first design shall include as follows.
- Left vertical and tabbed layout e.g. MS Word using 5 segments
o Home: some sort of start page, summary of actions, using a few fancy icons only
o Create New object/projects, file open dialog
o Manage objects/projects, list view, a few fancy file action icons
o Methods, list view, add and edit method
o Support , text area, links to PDF
Each segment shall be indicated by a scalable/vector-based icon. All other icons need to be scalable/vector based and free of external license costs. We will share an idea of the layout later on.
The layout has to be scaled to be used in different screen dimensions. Minimum is 1024 pixel up to 4K full size.
This will be only the first draft to start and to support our understanding of collaboration and processes. More layouts will follow so on successful finish of this task, we have more to come.
In the end we require the Figma file and export to JavaFX including a single CSS and vector images. All rights are transferred to us. The exports needs to fit the predefined folder structure of JavaFX.
