Redesigning News App UI/UX

We are looking for a skilled UI/UX designer and/or front-end developer to redesign our existing newspaper app using a UI layout we will provide. The goal is to enhance the user experience, modernize the design, and ensure responsiveness across devices.

Project Details:
You will be provided with a ready-made UI design (Figma) as the reference.
Your job is to redesign and implement the new interface either as:
A static UI prototype
The app primarily displays news articles, categories, featured stories, and user preferences like bookmarks

Key Features to be Redesigned:
Home page with top headlines and trending stories
Article detail page
Category tabs or filters
Navigation drawer or bottom tab bar
Bookmarks/Reading list
Search and settings screen

Requirements:
Prior experience with mobile or web app design (portfolio required)
Attention to detail and UI consistency
Mobile-first, responsive design
Familiarity with design handoff tools (Zeplin, Figma Inspect, etc.)
Ability to implement the UI in React Native / Flutter
Deliverables:
Clean, organized UI files in Figma/XD/Sketch (or implemented code if you're doing front-end)
Assets and stylesheets
If implementing: pixel-perfect, functional screens
