Prototype Development for UX/UI

Job ID: 38051449

Budget: $50 – $0 USD

I'm in need of a skilled UX/UI designer to assist in developing and testing a prototype for both mobile and web platforms. The ideal candidate should be proficient in creating interfaces that are user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and functional.

For employees working in a team environment who want real-time feedback, value attribution, and insights for how to grow and develop their career, The INFIN is a technology platform that connects the work you do to how it is actually valued by others. Unlike traditional feedback tools and compensation surveys, The INFIN is a real-time, market-based assessment of the value of your contribution as it is viewed from within your organization.

Want to help bring our working prototype to life? We’re looking for a top-notch fractional team member to help in an ongoing capacity through the product discovery phase of our startup. You’ll really help to spearhead user testing and validation through prototyping and experimentation as the first step in validating our on-deck development pipeline. From ‘big-picture’ hypothesis to ‘minute-detail’ of individual user stories, you’ll help to gather intel and experimental data so we advance, as informed as we can, our production pipeline.

Key Functions & Responsibilities:
• Prototyping. Through a detailed understanding of user profiles and stories, design use-appropriate fidelity prototypes that can be used to support / invalidate use cases.
• Experiment Design. Properly design unbiased experimentation methodologies to gather field data regarding various use cases.
• User Testing. Actually test prototypes using designed experiments to gather required information. Some user testing can be done with current / prospective beta clients, but much user testing will need to be done through other user channels that you suggest and bring.
• Data & Observation compilation and interpretation. Aggregate information from user testing and debrief with the rest of the product team.

Additional requirements:
• Must-Haves: Experience with User Story Mapping, persona development, human centered design, designing experiments and testing key risks and points of failure. Must be able to attend team meetings beginning at 5:00pm MST (GMT-7).
• Nice-to-haves: Experience with user engagement strategies, gamification, Octalysis, and Game Thinking frameworks. Exceptional UI / graphic design skills are nice, but not necessary (we can solve for this).

To help us sort through responses and quickly identify the truly qualified designers, please include with your response a short video (~3-5 min) introducing yourself, and briefly discuss / show / describe another project in which you took a similar role in the product discovery phase. The more you can share about the steps you took, tools you used, example prototypes, experiments, and key results that were achieved, the better!

Really appreciate your consideration, and I look forward to connecting.
