Description:

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to create a high-fidelity, interactive prototype for a cutting-edge Maritime Intelligence Platform. This prototype is a key component in a Proof of Concept Product Demonstration for an Automated Intelligence “Mission Decomposition” system within an Open Source Intelligence Center (OSIC).

Project Overview:

The prototype will demonstrate our system's capability to intelligently monitor and track maritime activities, specifically focusing on fishing vessels. It will feature a user-friendly interface that allows analysts, operators, and stakeholders to interact with various data streams, create intelligence mission threads, and monitor real-time vessel activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Design a high-fidelity, interactive UI prototype that demonstrates the system's features.
Incorporate elements of data visualization, particularly for maritime tracking on a global map.
Develop dynamic elements like a watchlist ticker, interactive vessel information cards, and real-time alerts.
Ensure the prototype reflects our brand's visual identity in terms of color scheme, fonts, and style.
Key Features to Include:

Interactive global map for real-time and historical vessel tracking.
Conversational AI input for generating intelligence mission threads.
Real-time, color-coded watchlist visualization.
Detailed information cards for individual vessels.
User-friendly navigation and data filtering options.
Requirements:

Proven experience in UI/UX design, especially with data-intensive and interactive web applications.
Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work in data visualization and user interface design.
Ability to translate complex data and functionality into intuitive designs.
Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma) and familiarity with prototype tools (e.g., InVision, Marvel).
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
(Optional) Knowledge or experience in maritime domain awareness or intelligence platforms is a plus.
