UX/UI Journey Flow Mapping for a Production App (FigJam Required) Overview
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
We are looking for an experienced UX/UI professional to document the current user experience of our production web app by creating detailed journey flow maps. These maps will visually outline all user interactions, decision points, and variations based on user permissions.
Scope of Work
- You will receive access to a demo environment of the web desktop app (not the live client environment).
- Initially, you will explore the app independently (“blind” test) before reviewing the provided user guide.
- The app has multiple user types with different permissions, and you will map how these affect user journeys.
- The demo environment provides multiple instances of the app on a single page, allowing you to simulate and document all available user roles within the app’s context.
Deliverables - Journey Flow Maps (Built in FigJam):
- End-to-end flows – Complete user journeys from entry to outcome.
- Branches & alternative paths – Decision points and different user actions.
- Loops – Repetitive or cyclical processes.
- Dead ends – Points where a user flow terminates without further action.
- User permissions differentiation – Clear labels and keys indicating how different roles affect the user experience.
- FigJam file will be shared with our team for easy access and ongoing updates.
Supporting Documentation (if needed):
- A brief summary (PDF) highlighting key observations or areas needing further clarification.
Requirements
- Proficiency with FigJam is required. All journey flows must be created in FigJam to allow collaboration and future modifications.
- Strong experience in UX/UI documentation and flow mapping.
- Ability to analyze and document app flows effectively.
- Experience working with multi-role user permissions is a plus.
