Freelancer Needed (South UK) – UX-Focused Process Mapping & Developer Brief for Web Platform

Description:

I’m looking for a UK-based freelancer (ideally in the South of England) to help map out the process flow for a complex web platform. This is not a development role — it’s about working closely with me to understand the platform concept, define the user journey, and produce a clear, developer-ready brief.

What the Work Involves:

I anticipate this will involve around 6–8 hours of in-person collaborative work, but I’m happy for it to take longer if needed to get the detail right.

We’ll sit down together and:

- Explore and refine the overall concept
- Map out the user flow and internal logic
- Identify key features, steps, and decision points
- Create a document (or slide deck) that explains the structure, functionality, and requirements from a developer’s perspective

Location & Meeting Logistics:

- Ideally you’ll be based in the South of England — I’m happy to travel to you
- I’m open to travelling further for the right person
- If needed, I can arrange a meeting room, but I’d prefer it if you could suggest a good communal working space (co-working or similar)
- I’ll cover lunch and refreshments on the day

Skills & Experience You Might Have:

- Background in UX design, UX architecture, or technical business analysis
- Comfortable mapping user journeys, process flows, and site structures
- Able to create clean, clear documentation using tools like Figma, Miro, Lucidchart, etc.
- Confident turning ideas into developer-friendly briefs
- Friendly, collaborative, and a clear communicator

This is a one-off piece of work for now, but if it goes well there may be further opportunities as the project develops.

If you’re interested, please get in touch with a short message about your background, location, and any relevant examples of previous process mapping or UX documentation you’ve done.
