JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an enthusiastic UI/UX Designer to help us in our overall application development efforts. This position requires 80-160 hours per month. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of our applications in the transportation industry.
We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Figma Designer to join our dynamic team. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital products' user experiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. UI/UX Design:
• Utilize Figma and other design tools to create visually stunning and intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to convey design concepts.
• Ensure design consistency across all platforms and devices.
2. User Research:
• Conduct user research to understand user needs, preferences, and pain points.
• Translate user feedback and insights into design solutions that improve the overall user experience.
3. Usability Testing:
• Plan and conduct usability tests to gather feedback and validate design decisions.
• Iterate and refine designs based on user testing results.
4. Collaboration:
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align design efforts with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Communicate design ideas and concepts effectively to cross-functional teams.
5. Design Documentation:
• Create and maintain design documentation, including style guides, design principles, and design specifications.
6. Stay Updated:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, design tools, and best practices to continuously improve design processes.
REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous design work.
• Proficiency in Figma only.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development is a plus.
