UI/UX Designer for Responsive Parents' Portal
Budget: $30 – $250 SGD
I am seeking a skilled UI/UX designer proficient in Figma to create designs for a mobile first, responsive parents' portal. This is NOT a mobile app but could become a PWA. It will be a SPA.
Key Features of the Portal:
- User Login using a OTP (there will not be a password to manage).
- A 'dashboard' to displaying last news, outstanding bills, latest pics.
- Announcements Section: A visually engaging area for school announcements that captures parents' attention.
- Parent-Teacher Communication: A dedicated communication hub designed to foster dialogue between parents and teachers. This is basically two sections: 1) an inbox to read personal messages and give feedback and/or create a new message. 2) A broadcast section where notices will be sent to one or more parents.
- Leave of Absence Feature: A simple and clear interface for parents to report their child's leave of absence.
- Personal Profile management. Parents can edit their own personal profile details like name, phone, email, address, etc.
- Child profile management. Parents can edit their child's details.
Primary Goal: The main aim of this portal is to enhance parent-teacher communication. Thus, the designs should be user-friendly, facilitating easy interaction.
Each parent may have one or more children.
I have provided some sample screens - parentsportal.pdf. Note these screens were designed to look like a mobile app. I do NOT want a mobile app. These screens are provided to aid in understanding of what the features are to be not for the design.
In terms of design, I will be using the "Spike Vuejs" template based on Vuejs with a laravel backend

You are required to project the Figma designs using a UI like the Spike Vuejs template.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in UI/UX design, particularly for responsive and mobile-first websites.
- Proficiency in Figma with a strong portfolio of previous work.
- Understanding of communication-oriented platforms.
- Ability to create engaging and intuitive designs.
