UI Designer for Movie Aggregation Website
Budget: $50 – $0 AUD
We operate several movie aggregation websites for a number of major brands. We have over 250 partner cinemas all over Australia. The key objective of our sites is for users to search through thousands of movie sessions and purchase the sessions they wish to attend as simply as possible. Generally, users search by cinema, by movie title or by date & location. We also offer candy-bar items for sale during the check-out process.
Our sites are run off a single back-end system and are all based around a single design, and we change colours and logo's to suit the brand we are working with. We are looking to make some improvements to the sites and need a UI expert to help us do this in the best possible way. Specifically, we want to:
1) Improve the design of the payment pages
2) Improve the user's movie search experience
3) Streamline the process for replicating the website for a new brand (i.e changing colours, logo's etc.)
We think this is about 2 to 3 weeks of full-time work. We'd like to work with someone on a trial basis to complete some basic initial tasks and then if everyone is happy we'd move on the whole project.
We are located in Melbourne and are specifically looking for someone located here as we think we need at least a few hours face-to-face to get across what we need accurately. During the project, we'd like to have daily standups to monitor progress.
Our customer-facing website can be found here www.choovie.com.au - this does not have our full suite of participating cinemas or candy-bar sales, but you can get a general idea as to how things work at present.
