UI/UX Designer for AI Intimacy App

We're seeking a creative, mid-level UI/UX Designer with a strong focus on UI design and complementary UX research skills. This remote position offers the opportunity to shape the visual identity and user experience of our AI intimacy application.

Primary Responsibilities
Create beautiful, intuitive user interfaces for our web and/or native applications using Figma
Design and maintain reusable components, global styles, and design systems
Develop interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts
Collaborate with our existing team of graphic designers, content writers, video editors, and front-end developers
Contribute to UX research to validate design decisions and improve user experiences
Present design work and articulate design decisions to stakeholders
Stay current with design trends and best practices in AI applications and digital intimacy spaces

Requirements
3+ years of professional UI/UX design experience
Expert-level proficiency with Figma, including mastery of reusable components, global styles, and prototyping features
Strong portfolio demonstrating original (non-template) UI design work for web or native applications
Experience with design systems and component-based design methodologies
Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design principles
Ability to translate user needs and business requirements into elegant design solutions
Strong visual design sensibilities with attention to typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy
Basic understanding of UX research methods and how to apply insights to design


Nice-to-Haves
Graphic design background or education
Experience with AI design tools and comfort integrating them into workflow
Previous work on applications involving human connection, relationships, or emotional experiences
Experience designing for AI-powered interfaces or conversational UI
Understanding of front-end development constraints and possibilities
