Balesin Community Chat App
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I want to roll out a simple yet polished real-time messaging platform called “Balesin Chat.” The first release only needs to cover the essentials so members can talk instantly without resorting to third-party tools.
What I need built
• A clean, modern interface that carries our Balesin colours and logo (brand files supplied after award).
• Real-time text messaging in public rooms and one-to-one threads, complete with typing indicators, message timestamps and basic emoji support.
• A dependable back-end (Firebase, Supabase, Socket.IO or similar) that can scale as traffic grows and lets us bolt on features later.
• Secure, encrypted user accounts with a straightforward login and password-reset flow.
• An admin dashboard where I can create or delete rooms, mute or deactivate users and see usage metrics.
• Clear, well-commented code plus a concise setup/maintenance guide so my internal IT team can pick up future updates.
Deliverables
1. Working MVP deployed to our hosting environment.
2. Source-code repo with commit history.
3. Handoff documentation and a brief walk-through call.
If you have live chat projects in your portfolio, please include links—I’d like to feel the latency and overall UX.
