Windows App Comprehensive Testing
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I have a Windows-only desktop application that is feature-complete but has never been through formal QA. To make sure it ships in top shape, I need a thorough round of testing that covers three key areas: functionality, user experience, and performance.
You’ll receive the installer, a brief product guide, and sample data. From there, I’d like you to explore the full feature set, push edge cases, and record anything that breaks, slows down, or confuses a first-time user.
Please work on real Windows hardware or a reliable virtual machine so your findings are representative of typical users.
Deliverables
• Structured test report (Excel, Google Sheets, or similar) listing defects with steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and severity
• UX feedback document highlighting friction points, confusing flows, or visual inconsistencies
• Performance snapshot: launch time, CPU/RAM footprint during typical workflows, and any noticeable slowdowns
• Final summary outlining overall app stability and readiness for release
Acceptance criteria
A report that is clear, reproducible, and complete enough for my dev team to act on without follow-up questions. Screenshots or short screen recordings are encouraged for critical issues.
If you’re comfortable running systematic test cases yet also willing to improvise like a real end user, this project should be straightforward and quick to wrap up.
