Website User Experience Testing
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a live website that now needs an objective round of user-experience testing. The sole purpose of this exercise is to uncover how real visitors flow through the site: where they hesitate, what feels intuitive, and which elements distract or frustrate them. I want clear, evidence-backed insights rather than general opinions, so please plan to combine observational testing with short follow-up interviews or surveys to capture the “why” behind each behaviour you observe.
Here is what I expect at the end of the engagement:
• A concise report that highlights key friction points, positive moments, and missed opportunities, with screenshots or short clips that illustrate each finding.
• Action-orientated recommendations ranked by impact and effort so my development team can move quickly.
• A brief walk-through call (or recorded video) summarising the most critical UX issues and suggested fixes.
Feel free to use any standard UX tools you prefer—UserTesting, Hotjar, Lookback, even simple remote screen-share sessions—so long as the final insights are clear and backed by real user interaction data. If you have a proven framework for rapid UX assessments on websites, mention it when you respond so I can gauge fit.
Timeline is flexible but ideally the full testing cycle, analysis, and handover of the report should be wrapped up within two weeks of kickoff.
