Website Navigation UX Overhaul
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
My current website brings in solid traffic, yet users still struggle to find what they need. To raise overall customer satisfaction, I want to streamline the navigation structure from top to bottom. The project centres on improving website usability, specifically the way visitors move through menus, categories, and internal links.
I already have brand guidelines and a live site. What I need now is a clear, data-driven plan and execution to make the navigation intuitive on desktop and mobile alike. I am open to iterative prototypes in Figma or Adobe XD and will supply Google Analytics data and current heat-maps so you can back design choices with real behaviour insights.
Deliverables
• A revised sitemap reflecting a simplified content hierarchy
• Low-fidelity wireframes illustrating new menu and sub-menu flows
• Interactive prototype demonstrating key user journeys, ready for stakeholder review
• Final production-ready assets (HTML/CSS or component specs) plus implementation notes
• A short usability report showing benchmark metrics before vs. after the changes
Acceptance criteria
• Average click-depth to reach any key page reduced by at least 30 %
• Mobile and desktop navigation tested with at least five real users; critical issues rated “none”
• No broken links or 404s introduced during rollout
Once approved, I will migrate the new structure myself, so clear documentation is essential. Timelines are flexible within reason, but weekly check-ins are expected until hand-off.
