Web-Based Tutorial Platform Testers Needed
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m looking to hire 2 testers to perform manual user testing on a web-based tutorial platform.
This role is non-technical and does not require coding. Your job is simply to use the website like a normal user, click through pages, menus, buttons, and tutorials, and report anything that doesn’t work, looks broken, or behaves incorrectly.
This is essentially mouse-based testing / user experience testing.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Log into the website using provided credentials
Navigate through tutorials, dropdowns, menus, buttons, and pages
Test links, navigation flows, and basic UI interactions
Identify bugs, broken elements, confusing behavior, or things that don’t respond correctly
Take screenshots (or short screen recordings if needed)
Clearly describe:
What you clicked
What you expected to happen
What actually happened
What You Do NOT Need:
No coding or programming knowledge
No debugging or fixing issues
No automation tools
No advanced QA experience
Required Skills:
Comfortable using websites and online tutorials
Basic understanding of how web apps should behave
Attention to detail
Ability to clearly describe issues in plain English
Ability to take screenshots and annotate if needed
Nice to Have (but not required):
Prior experience with user testing, QA testing, or UX testing
Familiarity with online learning platforms or tutorial-based websites
Deliverables:
A list of bugs/issues found
Screenshots (or short recordings) showing the issue
Simple written explanations I can pass directly to my developer
Project Type:
Short-term / busy-work style testing
Likely need up to 4 hours per day tester initially
For several weeks.
Potential for repeat testing rounds as the platform evolves
Budget:
Open to hourly or fixed-price proposals
Be sure not to ask me for raises etc, until the project is done. I need to see quality product first. I may be open to bringing in for a longer term commitment, the one that does the best work.
Please include your hourly rate and availability
