Purpose

The purpose of the Mobile app is to enable the end user to transmit data and interact with the end user.

The end user is typically an elderly person who will not be tech savvy. There for the interface will need to be simple and user friendly

Use cases

Scenario 1

End User has Dementia and has subscribed to the services (Provider ID). The service will provide the end user monitoring and alert escalation.

The end user with dementia is extremely forgetful, prone to falling over, and is still mobile/ambulant and often wonders off. The AirTag/tile, iwatch/android watch or Phone will need to be able to locate with high degree of accuracy and timeliness of where the end users is located. It will also need to be able to send and alert if the end user breaches a perimeter set (eg 1 km radius)

The iwatch will also record vital signs and send the data to DB. This is to record activity and also monitor health of the end user. And also send SOS if when the end user has fallen down and no movement.

The Motion Sensor will send movement data within the home of the end user. This is to ensure that the end user is active and not (incapacitated)

Scenario 2

End User has just had major surgery and is non mobile. The iwatch will send vital data to the DB to monitor the status of the end user. If the heart rate data will be critical and will need to be timely, up to 5 seconds refresh. The watch will also monitor is the end user has fallen off the bed or require SOS which will be trigger automatically or manually via APP.

The motion sensor will be a secondary indicator of activity, the data will be sent to the DB based on specified intervals.

Scenario 3

End User is elderly and takes a range of medication. The DB will need to be able to send notifications to remind the end user. The notifications will need to be acknowledged by the end user.
The end user will also need to be able to trigger a facetime video call to the provider ID. And the provider ID will also need to trigger a video or voice call.
