User Documentation Writer for Oversight & Compliance Software
Description:
We’ve developed an application that supports oversight and compliance, including structured assessment and delegate risk rating. To help our clients adopt the platform more effectively and reduce support needs, we’re looking for an experienced user documentation writer.
Your role will be to create clear, wiki-based content (we use Bookshelf) , including user guides, step-by-step articles, and troubleshooting prompts. The goal is to explain concepts in plain language and encourage users to solve problems independently. You’ll also document features such as our configurable (no-code) data options and contribute to drafting best practice procedures.
We’re seeking someone who has written user-friendly documentation for software applications, ideally with knowledge of compliance, governance, or risk tools. Familiarity with wiki/knowledge base platforms (e.g., Confluence, Notion, Bookshelf) is a plus.
If you can turn complex processes into easy-to-follow user documentation that empowers clients and supports future AI-ready use, we’d love to work with you.
