Quick UX Feedback: PCB Engineers
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m inviting a handful of practicing hardware engineers or PCB designers to spend about 15 minutes inside my pre-launch web app, PartPilot (bestpartpilot.com). Upload a BOM or punch in a part number, then tell me—straight, no sugar coating—what keeps this from becoming a tool you’d lean on every day.
During my own testing, the ability to see stock information across four distributors in one glance feels like the killer feature, but I need fresh eyes. Point out what’s confusing, what’s missing, and what would make you actually pay for Pro.
How this works
• You must have real-world PCB experience; KiCad users are ideal, though Altium or EasyEDA is fine too.
• Reply with a line or two about your experience designing boards or managing component sourcing. No lengthy proposal required.
• I’ll send you an access link; you explore, jot your thoughts, and drop them back to me in a concise note or Loom video—whatever’s fastest for you.
Compensation
There’s no cash for this micro-review, but everyone who completes it gets complimentary Pro access when we launch, so you’ll be first to benefit from the improvements you help shape.
If you’re willing to trade a few minutes for a better sourcing workflow down the road, let’s do this.
