I run a UK-based Shopify store (blesseduk.com) targeting US customers via Meta ads. For the previous 24 months our checkout-to-purchase conversion rate was 43.95% (1,268 completions from 2,885 checkout reaches). Since June 19th 2026 this has collapsed to under 4% — 9 completions from 200+ checkout reaches in 26 days. This is happening in real time today — 8 reached checkout, 0 US completions.
The specific issue: US customers arriving via Meta ads on iPhone are reaching checkout and failing to complete — leaving zero trace in abandoned checkouts. The same customer was observed today attempting checkout across 3 different browsers simultaneously and still could not complete. UK customers appear to convert seamlessly.
What I need immediately:
