Desktop App UX Optimization

Job ID: 40352904

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m refining an established desktop application and need a fresh, expert eye on its user experience. The core pain-point today is navigation—menus feel crowded, user flows branch in too many directions, and new users often get lost. Your first assignment will be a small, self-contained task focused on untangling that navigation so I can gauge fit and style before we move deeper into the product.

Here’s what I expect from this first phase, to be delivered within the coming month:
• A concise audit that pinpoints friction in current journeys and interface states
• Low- to mid-fidelity wireframes or an interactive Figma/Sketch prototype showing a simpler, clearer path through the key screens
• Rationale for each change, referencing usability heuristics or proven patterns
• A hand-off package (annotated screens or a brief spec) that my developers can implement without ambiguity

If you’ve streamlined dashboards, admin panels, or other complex product interfaces before, I’d love to see those examples and hear a sentence or two about the measurable impact you achieved. Strong communication and the ability to iterate quickly are essential; this will turn into ongoing work if our collaboration clicks.

Let’s make this app effortless to navigate.
