Comprehensive E-Commerce Website Testing
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I’m ready to put my new e-commerce site through a full round of quality assurance and need a seasoned tester to help me catch every issue before launch. The store must feel flawless on desktop, mobile, and tablet, so cross-device and cross-browser coverage is essential.
Here’s what I expect from this engagement:
• Functionality testing: verify product pages, cart, checkout, payment gateway, user registration, account management, coupons, and order emails all work exactly as intended.
• Usability testing: evaluate navigation clarity, search efficiency, and overall user journey, then propose practical improvements that shorten the path to purchase.
• Security testing: probe common vulnerabilities that could compromise customer data or transactions and present mitigation advice.
Deliverables
1. A prioritized bug/issue tracker with clear reproduction steps, screenshots or screen recordings, and severity labels.
2. A concise usability report highlighting friction points and suggested fixes.
3. A security findings summary outlining any risks discovered alongside recommended remediation actions.
4. A final pass confirmation once fixes are deployed.
I’ll provide full site credentials, staging access, and any additional documentation you require. If you have experience with tools such as Selenium, BrowserStack, OWASP ZAP, or similar, please mention it — but feel free to leverage your preferred toolset as long as results are thorough and well documented.
Looking forward to your expertise in making sure shoppers can buy with confidence on every device.
