Chrome Extension Testing
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a brand-new Chrome extension ready for real-world scrutiny and I need your eyes—and camera—on it. You’ll install & use it on chrome browser, and record a single, unedited walkthrough that shows your face and captures your screen. As you explore, speak aloud so I hear what feels intuitive, what breaks, and where performance lags.
Please concentrate on three core areas:
• the user interface (clarity, layout, visual polish)
• overall functionality (feature flow, unexpected errors)
• performance (speed, resource use)
The extension must be exercised on Windows, macOS, and Linux. If you run more than one operating system, great—include each in the same video or separate takes.
Deliverables
1. Screen-and-webcam recording in HD (MP4 or MOV) covering at least 10 minutes of exploration on both desktop and laptop.
2. A short written summary (bullet or paragraph) highlighting your top positives, negatives, and any critical bugs noted during the video.
3. Clear reproduction steps for every issue you spot.
No formal template is required—speak naturally, be candid, and don’t hold back. I simply want to watch you use the product and hear your genuine reactions so the development team can refine the extension before launch.
