Build a Meme-Based Dating App MVP in Bubble
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I'm looking for a skilled Bubble.io developer to help me build out the MVP of D8Sync ("Date-Sync") — a bold, meme-first dating app that flips the traditional swipe/chat model on its head. Instead of swiping through profiles, users flip memes, react with {heart} "Yeah!" / X "Nah" buttons, and match based on humor compatibility. The system is built around AI feedback, "vibe" matching (social media post datas scrapes, custom data tags, AI Coach interactions, Meme Pack rReview responces), "click rate": how fast and what time users connect to app, and emotional resonance — not superficial photos or bios.
Users do not chat with eachother. Ever. They get messaged that they matached and are assigned a time, date and location (based on their calender prefs) to meet their match in a public space, like a coffee shop. They are give an "clue" to who they are to emet, somehthing they both would recocnize and can connect over: like a phrase, a sticker, a hand-held item, or particular cofffee order name. During this "blind date" AI is their wingman offering ways to exit the date from suttle (having their friend phone them) to a "panic button" which alters local athorities.
After the date, the AI checks in to see if they want to keep commnuicating or not: if not the connection goes away. No ghosting. No shame.. No rejection.
If they do, they unlock a "meme -to meme" IM where they only communicate using memes. After a number of days pass and the converssaation is still going, they can unlock a one-time "You want to chat?" function: they can exchange user pre-approved contact info (email/phone number) if they did not do so during the date. Both have to aggee, if one does not the offer is locked down and the mem convo continues uninterupted. After 3 days and a meme is not sent, this meme-chat thread is disolved.
Again, theus is not a typical dating app. The goal is to get people to meet because of shared humor and other "vibes"/intrests and actually meet in person: not just talk endlessly online like every other dating app ont he market today, to swipe "perficly curiated" profiles and have "perficly blanced" conversations.

Payment Terms: $300/month over 6 months, paid in instllments as parts are done.

Core user model + database
Placeholder meme system
Onboarding screen with mode selection (Coach vs Blind Match)
Month 2: Blind Matching Logic
Vibe-tag-based match system (no images or bios)
AI Coach integration (OpenAI, 1 static archetype)
Internal vibe tagging system linked to reactions
Month 3: User Behavior & Coach UX
Reaction triggers for Coach feedback (after 3–5 flips)
Log vibe metadata and behavior into user profile
Basic Coach personality behavior (scripted)
Month 4: Early Feature Expansion
User Match + IRL Location testing + User Aviability Calender responsiveness
Meme-only messaging system (no text inputs)
Add 1–2 more coach archetypes
Add SyncSignal tagging logic for user behavior matching
Month 5: Polish & Test
Improve UI styling (retro/console aesthetic)
Prep app for early testing with select real users
Final bug fixes & workflow cleanup
You Are:
Experienced with Bubble (logic, workflows, DB structuring)
Able to commit ~5–10 hours/week over 5 months
Comfortable integrating OpenAI (simple coach feedback loop)
Reliable, proactive, and clear with communication
Ideally familiar with social/creative app UX
