Senior UX/UI Designer Needed – Full Website Review & Recommendations (Pre-Launch)
Budget: $10 – $100 USD
I am looking for an experienced, senior-level UX/UI designer to conduct a thorough review of my web application before its public launch. This is not a redesign project — I need a detailed expert critique and a clear, organized report of findings with actionable recommendations.
The website is a memorial platform where families create lasting digital tributes for loved ones and pets. The tone of the platform is calm, compassionate, and elegant. Understanding this emotional context is important — your review should account for how grieving users experience the site, not just general usability standards.
The website URL will be shared privately with the selected candidate after hire.
Pages to review include (but are not limited to):
- Homepage
- How It Works
- Features
- Pricing
- Demos
- Shop
- Blog
- FAQs
- Why Us?
- About Us
- Support / Contact
- Privacy Policy / Terms of Service
- Create a Memorial (user flow)
- Memorial listing/browse pages (People & Pets)
What I need you to review:
- Visual hierarchy and typography (font sizing, weight, line height, spacing)
- Text alignment consistency across all pages and sections
- Button and CTA placement, sizing, labeling, and contrast
- Spacing and padding consistency (between sections, components, and elements)
- Color usage, contrast ratios, and accessibility (WCAG compliance observations)
- Navigation structure, clarity, and mobile responsiveness
- Image usage, sizing, and visual balance with surrounding content
- Page flow and section ordering — does each page guide the user logically?
- Emotional tone alignment — does the design feel appropriate for a grief/memorial platform?
- Mobile vs. desktop experience — flag anything that breaks or feels off on smaller screens
- Micro-interactions and feedback states (hover effects, form inputs, buttons)
- Footer organization and link grouping
- Any inconsistencies across pages (mismatched styles, padding, font sizes, etc.)
- Overall first-impression assessment for new visitors
Deliverables:
A single, well-organized written report (PDF or Google Doc) that covers all reviewed pages with:
- Section-by-section findings
- Specific, actionable recommendations for each issue
- Screenshots or callouts where helpful to illustrate the feedback
- A prioritized list of changes (high, medium, low impact)
This is a one-time review project. However, if your work is excellent, there is a strong possibility of future collaboration as the platform continues to grow.
To be considered, please confirm in your proposal that you have read and understood this full project description, that you are fluent in written and spoken English, and include 2–3 examples of similar website audits or UX review reports you have completed.
Looking forward to working with a true expert on this.
