UX/UI Researcher Needed for Website Competitor Review, Site Map Mapping, and User Journey Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for an experienced UX/UI researcher to work with me on a website project.
The role is to study a specific area of interest, identify relevant competitive websites, map how those websites are structured, and help translate the findings into a stronger website structure and user experience for my project.
The work will include:
Identifying competitive and reference websites in the agreed category or area of interest
Reviewing each website from a UX, content, navigation, and feature perspective
Mapping the site map of each selected website
Identifying unique, useful, or interesting features across these websites
Highlighting common patterns, gaps, and opportunities
Developing three alternative site map options for my website
Creating audience journeys for the main user groups
Presenting the recommendations in a clear and structured format
The ideal freelancer should have experience in UX research, website audits, information architecture, site map development, and user journey mapping. You should be able to think strategically, not just document what already exists.
The final output should help us make informed decisions about the structure, navigation, content flow, and user experience of the new website.
Please share examples of similar UX research, competitor mapping, site map, or user journey work you have done before. In your proposal, briefly explain how you would approach this assignment and what format you would use for the final deliverable.
