Qualitative UX research in Poland for an e-commerce website
Budget: €500 – €2,000 EUR
We are starting our international research and in Q2 2022, we would like to hire a Polish-speaking UX research freelancer to test our cosmetics e-shop with Polish customers. The researcher's job will be to recruit participants, run 10 ±50 min interviews combined with usability testing and prepare the data for our internal analysis, including translating the transcripts into English or Czech. The work will be done in close collaboration with out internal researchers. We will provide basic scenarios that should be comparable across multiple countries, but we are looking for expert input as well, especially regarding cultural differences (e.g. locally appropriate incentives, interpretation of the data in cultural context).
Requirements for the researcher:
- experience conducting usability testing and semi-structured interviews, ability to recognise interesting topics and dig deeper
- experience recruiting participants
- excellent Polish and C1 English or Czech
Project goals:
- find out how Polish customers perceive our e-shop, what are their impressions of the brand
- how they select the e-shop to buy cosmetics from, which factors are important to them and how our e-shop compares to competitors, how they understand our unique selling propositions
- identify major problems during shopping (navigation, information on product detail) and check-out
Participants

- 5 naive participants and 5 participants experienced in shopping with us
- various experience levels with shopping and cosmetics
- 7-8 female , 2-3 men, educated, age range 25-55
Scenarios:
- Interview: how and where they usually shop for cosmetics, pains, advantages and disadvantages of competitors
- Task with think-aloud protocol: select and buy a product from our e-shop until last step of the checkout
- Interview: Understanding our USPs
