UX/UI Design needed for an LMS platform - Website & APP (Android, iOS, Windows) *Plz fully read details. Do not bid Blindly*
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are running an online educational website that teaches primary school subjects to children via ZOOM. We are currently using an LMS platform that is installed at our website at www.maktab24.online. After few months of use, we figured out that the LMS platform we are using and other LMS templates at the market are complex and are not user-friendly enough for the category of clients we have. Our users are very young children and house wives that have very little to no knowledge in tech. We need to re-design a very simplistic and user-friendly platform that is much much easier. A new design of a platform that the Ease of use and functionalities are optimized for the children and as well as for their parents who have very little technological literacy. At maktab24.online, we connect immigrant Afghan families (low Tech people) with the Afghan teachers in Afghanistan, to teach their children school subjects online via ZOOM.
What we need:
1. An LMS platform for children use. A childish environment that has eye-catching design; using Cartoons, pictures and colors that is interesting for the eyes of children (Ages 6 to 12).
2. A very simple and user-friendly platform for the Afghan parents to view their childrens' enrolled courses, their progress, teachers information, billing information, course periods and etc
3. A platform for the teachers to manage courses, start/end classes and easily communicate with students and parents
4. a Control Panel (a backend DashBoard) for the management to link courses between teachers and students, follow-up subscription dates, track attendances, assign ZOOM course links and other management tasks
➔ We don’t have saved educational material on sale at our website. The whole business model is on sale of online virtual classes based on monthly subscriptions that are held via ZOOM. So the platform shall be designed as such to take this into consideration. The main functionality needed is to enable students and teachers to join the virtual classes at the easiest and most convenient way possible. And to have a Dashboard to manage all this.
➔ Built-in Messaging APP: we also need an instant messaging feature to facilitate communication between teacher, students and their parents (within platform). This is because communication outside platform is not allowed. messaging section should also allow for sharing/transfer of documents.
➔ All sections needs to be fully integrated with each other and functional
➔ All sections needs full integration with ZOOM i.e. class join/start, class tracking, etc.
➔ Optimized for all devices (computer & phones) and for APPs (Android, iOS, Windows)
➔ light graphic effects shall be used to produce an engaging environment that is easy to navigate and has good call to action with numerous conversion points on each page where possible.
➔ Teachers and Parents section is in Persian language, Management and Student section is in English
We did find educational templates for this purpose (ready-to-use), but we preferred to engage a professional freelancer to design something that is sufficiently modified and customized solely for the purpose of our clients. Something original & interactive that looks professional and simplistically functional for our purpose.
Once full design is complete, freelancer should agree to provide 3 months of free support service after project completion. This period is to have the UX/UI designer engaged with the developer for the re-design of the sections (if needed) until full functionality is achieved.
Payment to the freelancer will be made in Milestones:
1. 35% of the awarded amount will be released upon completion of all design for Website platform to our satisfaction and prototypes are shared
2. 35% of the awarded amount released upon completion of design for the APPs. when work is complete to our satisfaction and prototypes are shared.
3. 30% of awarded amount will be released on monthly bases within the 3 months of support period
