Design Prototype of a small Geographical Information System (GIS)
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am looking for someone to provide a prototype design only of a small Geography Information System (GIS) for the country of Papua New Guinea (PNG). The system will capture, store, check and display data related to positions on the map of PNG. The system will allow users to see, analyse and understand patterns and relationships more easily. There will be just two data source for the first phase:
1) Address Database for the country
2) Organisations Database for the country. List of all registered organisations in the country
Other features of the GIS
a) It must have an API that will allow it to integrate with third party applications to provide addresses
b) It must have all the standard features of a GIS
c) It must be able to import data from excel or csv files
d) It must have data visualisation and analysis capabilities
I have attached more information in the attached document. The prototype design once approved will go into production (development) of the actual GIS by the same contractor at an agreed price different from the cost of design in this project.
