Energy Management System (iot Dashboards)
Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR
98% Same application Required from this Video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyVT6bhGAcs
1. Project Overview (Simple Explanation)
1.1 We are building an Energy Monitoring System (EMS) used in industrial plants.
1.2 Field hardware (energy meters, sensors) already exists
1.3 Data is already collected and stored in a database
1.4 APIs will be provided by our backend team
1.5 Your responsibility is ONLY UI / UX
1.6 No hardware, no protocols, no database logic
2. Think of this as a data-driven dashboard application, similar to:
2.1 Energy dashboards
2.2 IoT monitoring portals
3. SCADA-like visualization (UI only)
3.1 . What You Will Build
A) Web Application (Phase-1)
A responsive web dashboard that:
Fetches data from REST APIs
Displays energy data in charts, gauges, and tables
Works smoothly on desktop browsers
B) WPF Application (Phase-2)
A Windows desktop application:
Same screens & APIs as Web
Optimized for local server / LAN usage
Professional industrial look
Web and WPF only consume APIs.
They must not access database directly.
3. Scope of Work (Very Clear)
Included (Your Scope)
UI / UX design
Dashboard screens
Charts & graphs
Tables & filters
Login screens (UI only)
API integration (GET requests only)
Clean, professional industrial theme
NOT Included
Hardware communication
Modbus / MQTT / protocols
Database design or queries
Data calculations (kWh, PF, TOD, etc.)
Alarm logic or business rules
All values shown in UI are already computed by backend.
4. Data Flow (For Understanding Only)
Hardware → Server → Database → API → Your UI (Web / WPF)
API response time: 1–5 seconds
Real-time animation not required
Refresh based dashboards are OK
5. Expected Screens (High Level)
You will build screens similar to:
Login page
Dashboard (KPIs like kW, kWh, Voltage, Current)
Real-time status page
Energy trends (Hourly / Daily / Monthly)
Bar & line charts
Data table with date filters
Alarm list (active & history)
Settings page (basic UI)
Exact wireframes will be shared later.
6. Technology Stack (Mandatory)
Web Application
Frontend: React / Next.js
Charts: Chart.js / ECharts / ApexCharts
Styling: Tailwind / Material UI / Ant Design
API: REST (JSON)
WPF Application
Framework: WPF (.NET 6+ or .NET 8)
Pattern: MVVM preferred
Charts: LiveCharts / Syncfusion / Telerik
API: REST (JSON)
Please do NOT propose:
PHP dashboards
Direct DB access
Low-code platforms
7. Code & Ownership Rules (Important)
Code must be written from scratch
Git repository must be under our account
Clean, readable, commented code
Full IP & source code ownership belongs to us
No reuse of licensed templates without approval
8. What We Expect From You (Selection Criteria)
You MUST have:
Prior experience in dashboard / analytics UI
API-based data visualization projects
At least 1–2 similar live projects
Please share:
Links to past dashboards / portals
Screenshots of similar work
Tech stack used in those projects
Your role in those projects (UI / frontend / full-stack)
Generic portfolios without dashboards will be ignored.
9. Project Timeline (Indicative)
Phase Duration
UI Design & Layout 1–2 weeks
Web Dashboard 3–4 weeks
Refinements 1 week
WPF (Phase-2) Separate scope
Milestone-based payments only.
10. How to Apply (Important)
When you reply, please answer all below:
Have you built data-heavy dashboards before? (Yes/No)
Share 2 similar project links or screenshots
Preferred stack (React / WPF versions)
Estimated cost for Web UI only
Availability (hours per week)
Note
This is a long-term product, not a one-time project.
We are looking for serious developers, not quick freelancers.
