UI Artist for a 2D Game

Dark Pyre Interactive is a video game studio based in Kent, England. Run by passionate gamers, we aim to design and develop top quality games that are engaging and fun. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic freelance UI Artist to join the team on a short-term contract and work on the UI for a new 2D video game.

**Budget: $200

The Ideal candidate:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in creating UI for games or apps (preferably mobile games)
• Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• A good understanding of what makes a game visually appealing
• Ability to present and sell designs to stakeholders
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Good English communication skills – verbal and written

Nice to have:
• Experience with Unity
• Experience in 2D Art
• BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related
