Passport Reader Web App Test

Job ID: 39801575

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have a browser-based solution that reads data from a physical passport through a connected reader and feeds the results into our web workflow. Before we roll it out, I want fresh eyes to run through every step on a Windows machine using Google Chrome.

You will need:
• A valid passport (any nationality is fine)
• Your own passport reader or a laptop-integrated reader that works on Windows
• The ability to capture clear screenshots or short screen recordings when something looks off

What you’ll do:
1. Install the small helper driver we provide, open the web page, and run through the full capture process (MRZ scan, chip read, data confirmation and submission).
2. Push the system into edge cases—wrong orientation, partial scans, unplugged reader mid-process, etc.—and see how the site responds.
3. Log every issue in our shared tracker with reproduction steps, screenshots/video and expected vs. actual results.

I’m especially interested in usability snags, broken UI elements and any security warnings Chrome throws. A concise final report and confirmation that all critical paths work will mark the job complete.

Note: Please read descriptions carefully and bid here. I need person who have PC, reader, passport.
