Campus Parking Optimization System

Job ID: 39929226

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I’m looking for an experienced consultant who can help me untangle the parking chaos on King Abdulaziz University’s campus. Right now, limited spaces and congestion push many drivers—especially students, our initial focus—to park wherever they can, often illegally.

Here’s what I need:
• A clear, data-driven assessment of current demand versus capacity, using any campus maps, photos, or traffic counts I supply.
• An optimized layout that shows how to squeeze the most legal spots out of every lot while keeping circulation smooth. CAD, SketchUp, or a comparable tool is fine, as long as measurements are accurate.
• A functional prototype and visual mock-ups of a medium-fidelity digital management system so students can see open spaces or reserve one before arriving. Think dashboard screens, user flows, and a brief tech stack suggestion.
• A practical implementation roadmap outlining costs, phased roll-out, and policy tweaks that discourage illegal parking.

Real-time availability feeds, automated gates, or similar IoT add-ons are welcome in your proposal if they reinforce the plan, but they’re not mandatory. Experience in urban mobility, parking design, or smart-campus solutions will stand out. Deliver everything in a concise report with supporting files, ready for university review and next-step funding.
