Urgent Unreal Engine developer needed
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I’m racing against a deadline on a role-playing game built in Unreal Engine and need an extra pair of expert hands right away. The basic prototype is live, but several gameplay systems still need to move from “proof of concept” to production quality.
Here’s where you’ll jump in:
• Refine and expand existing Blueprints (or convert to C++ where performance demands it).
• Implement clean, modular gameplay systems—quests, combat loops, UI hooks, AI behaviours—pushing each feature to a testable state.
• Optimise and profile so the build stays smooth on both PC and console targets.
• Commit through Git with clear comments so the rest of the team can follow your logic.
A feature is considered complete when I can pull your branch, drop it into the current build, hit Play in editor and in a packaged build, and see the requested mechanics working error-free.
We’ll coordinate daily over Discord, share screen when a quick walkthrough beats a wall of text, and keep tasks in bite-sized milestones so nothing drifts.
If you know Unreal Engine inside out and can start immediately, let’s get this RPG across the finish line.
