3D Unreal Tidal Simulation

Job ID: 39799348

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I have a complete 2-D coastal model produced in MIKE 21 and now need to turn those results into a fully interactive 3-D tidal scene built in Unreal Engine. The target is a generic stretch of coastline, so you are free to design the land-sea interface and landscape as long as it looks realistic and provides enough spatial variety (beach, shallow shelf, deeper offshore zone) for scientific inspection.

The heart of the job is importing the MIKE 21 outputs—specifically the water-level and tide time-series—and driving a physically convincing wave surface with them. Accuracy is far more important than artistic exaggeration; the visualisation will be used for scientific research and must reproduce amplitude, phase and timing exactly as in the source data.

Because the outcome will feed into further analysis, I need the project delivered as:

• a self-contained Unreal Engine project folder (current LTS version preferred)
• a clear, step-by-step read-me or short screen-capture walkthrough that shows how the MIKE 21 grids were converted, brought into Unreal, and connected to your material/blueprint setup
• an optional MP4 viewport capture that demonstrates a full tide cycle, mainly for quick review before I open the project

If you already have, or intend to use, ocean-simulation plugins or fluid-solver add-ons inside Unreal, please mention them so I can keep licensing consistent across the team.

I am ready to supply the MIKE 21 dfsu files and any additional meta-data you need as soon as we start.
