Unreal Hair Simulation Fix

Job ID: 39718291

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I already have the entire scene and animation set up inside Unreal Engine; the only thing still missing is a believable hair pass. You’ll get the project folder plus the groom asset for one specific character, and I need you to make the strands react convincingly to both the character’s motion and any wind I trigger through the level.

The goal is a realistic look, so please leverage UE’s Groom component, Niagara wind forces, or whatever combination you normally use to achieve natural secondary motion without noticeable clipping or jitter. Once you’re done, I should be able to hit Play and watch the animation with the hair settling, swaying, and responding to gusts exactly as it would in real life—no further tweaks on my end.

Deliverables
• Updated .uproject with the finished hair simulation module enabled
• Any custom Niagara systems or physics assets you create, neatly organised in their own folder
• Brief note (text or quick screen-record) explaining any settings I might want to adjust later—wind strength, stiffness, collision, etc.

I’ll send the download link as soon as we agree, and I’m ready to test your first pass right away.
