Unreal Engine Film Environment Artist
Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR
My animation film is moving into production and Unreal Engine will carry the entire visual pipeline. With a set of detailed reference boards already prepared, I need an artist who can take charge of environment design and deliver cinema-quality renders directly from the engine.
You’ll be translating those references into fully realised 3D worlds, setting up materials, foliage, atmospherics, and lighting, then producing high-resolution stills or frame sequences ready for compositing. Real-time performance is still important, so scene optimisation and clean project organisation must accompany the visual polish.
Deliverables
• A complete, well-organised Unreal Engine project for each environment
• Final 4K (or higher) renders / EXR sequences that match the approved look
• A short document outlining key settings, lighting rigs, and asset locations for smooth hand-off
Acceptance criteria: environments must visually match the reference boards, run at a minimum 30 fps in-viewport, and render without flicker, light leaks, or texture pops.
All reference packs, colour scripts, and storyboards will be shared at kickoff. We’ll review progress weekly via video call and version control (Perforce or Dropbox). Please include links to portfolio pieces that demonstrate environment design and final renders created entirely in Unreal Engine.
