Unreal Engine 5 Fighting Game
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m producing a PC-only fighting game in Unreal Engine 5 and need an experienced developer to push the prototype into a playable alpha over the next one to two months. You should have at least three solid years working hands-on with UE5 and Blueprint scripting—the entire gameplay layer is Blueprint-driven, so quick iteration and clean, well-commented graphs are a must.
Core tasks
• Refine and extend combat mechanics (hit detection, combo chains, state management)
• Set up character-select and round logic, integrating existing art and animations
• Profile and optimise for consistent 60 fps on mid-range PCs
• Package regular test builds and fix critical bugs called out during play-tests
The total project budget is US $ 500. I’ll split this into clearly-defined milestones (for example: combat loop, UI flow, optimisation pass) and release funds on acceptance of each; I’m not able to provide an upfront payment.
Most of the team is India-based, so an IST-friendly schedule is strongly preferred, though I’ll consider anyone who can commit to daily Slack updates and twice-weekly screen-share reviews.
If you can hit the ground running on the latest UE5 release and enjoy fine-tuning moment-to-moment gameplay, send over a short note highlighting relevant fighting or action titles you’ve shipped, along with a link to a recent Blueprint snippet or video walkthrough of your work.
